A Thousand Yearsby Christina Perri

While I was impressed by Christina Perri's other two hit songs, "Arms" and "Jar of Hearts," I was a bit disappointed in "A Thousand Years." It has a beautiful melody, but to me it is bland and not particularly unique. Lacks the edge of her previous songs. I expect something a little more, well, unexpected from this girl with the tattoos and blonde streak of hair! Maybe if you're a "Twilight" fan and know "A Thousand Years" from the soundtrack, the song would have a little more meaning. But, I'm not a "Twilight" fan and am rating it average.
