Horslips is an Irish Rock band that formed in 1970. They really made a diverse catalogue of CD releases throughout the 1970's. "Aliens" is their 7th release (1977) and I believe their best. I was fortunate enough to see them live during the mid 1970's and instanly fell in love with their charm and sound. This CD has some of their best work, including the U.S. FM staple songs "Speed The Plough" and "Sure The Boy Was Green". The only reason we did not give this release a 5 star was because of the average sound quality. Please, don't let that stop you purchasing "Aliens". For fans of Jethro Tull, Thin Lizzy and even U2!!
