Brian Regan is a highly in demand comedian for a reason: he's just flat out funny. This 2010 performance is proof. From getting a hearing test, to his response to a bird flying into his house, to his very first text message, he brings out the humor in the mundane, everyday life stuff. He really comes across as an average guy, he could well be that neighbor that tells you a boring story but knows what to emphasize to make it sound interesting.
And not to give anything away, but there is a bit on here where he reacts to an audience member, to hysterical results. He does a great job of thinking on his feet, not being thrown by the crowd, but doing a masterful job of allowing them to be integrated into his set. It's a lot of fun to hear!
Brian Regan has done several albums, many specials and even has a Netflix series, but his humor has always been clean. No foul language, no off color topics... and this album is a shining example. He doesn't resort to cursing, or shocking the audience to be funny, he just points out how ridiculous everyday life is. This album is extremely funny, I've listened to it dozens of times, it's never gotten old. Definitely worth picking up.
