I first heard Niykee Heaton on Pandora radio (Bad Intentions) and the song grabbed me right away so I came here and decided to download the album. The songs are poppy, catchy, but they have more mature content (drinking / alcoholism is a major theme).
My favorite tracks are Champagne for the Pain and Bad Intentions. I also like Sober. The songs have a nice drum beat, but the beats are subtle, not overpowering the lyrics. Niykee has a sweet, smooth voice that contrasts with the "bad girl" element of her lyrics. She doesn't exhibit the vocal range of someone like Adele or Christina Aguilera, but her songs are fun and catchy.
I think the album will appeal to people who like Ke$ha, Britney Spears, and Tov Lo. She's got that same pop vibe without the heavy production of contemporaries like Ariana Grande.
