The fourth album entitled Barbara by We Are Scientists has to be the bands best work to date, Andy Burrows has been recruited from Razorlight to play on the drums, whether this is one of the reasons for the new found sound isn't known but that doesn't derive from how catchy an album it is. Everything from the riffs to the lyrics seem so much better as I'm sure even a die hard We Are Scientists fans would agree. It gets off to a perfect start with 'rules don't stop' which doesn't waste any time getting into your head. Anyone looking for some new music or just a good listen will enjoy this, it may not be the most memorable album but credit has to go to the band for a marginal improvement.

Similar Artists Include: Maximo Park, The Subways, Blood Red Shoes, The Futureheads, The Cribs, Mystery Jets, The Rapture.

If you enjoyed this album I would recommend:
Blood Thirsty Mastery by We Are Scientists
With Love and Squalor by We Are Scientists
Blood Red Shoes who appear on the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World soundtrack
Serotonin by Futureheads
