Four stars for Mr. David Essex and his new album "Be Bop the future" Interestingly enough, I was truly surprised in a very pleasant way with this one. As you know, I am not a big fan of the techo punk hard sound but I will say this a couple of his songs really got my attention.Trac 1 " Totally secure" and what girl does not want reassurance? Only me HA! Trac 2 " Sunday papers " is a lovely little diddity that talks of the perfect crime and getting away with it ! Opps don't tell! HA! Trac 3 "The Magician" a softer ballad with easy to understand lyrics and great love story to tell!I am a sucker for that!Trac 4 " The Politician" I have to be honest here I did not get this one, if there is one song I did not understand it is this one! Trac 5 "Sunshine Girl" I liked this very fine. If I can be so bold as to be completely honest, one of his better songs on this album!Trac 8 "Showgirls" All pizazz and flash! He really pumped up the energy on this one! Great Job!Trac 11 "Secret Lover" another soft ballas type song with easy to undersytand lyrics and a great love story to tell!
