After hearing a cover from Skinny Love by Bon Iver, I was very curious to what extent they released the rest of the songs on the album that appeared on November 7th. The 15-year-old Birdy from England voted me very positive when I heard that song.

When I saw the tracklist, I became more curious than I already was. There are songs from well-known bands like Phoenix, The xx, Fleet Foxes and one of The National's hits. Well, I normally do not like the cover albums, although Nada Surf also produced a nice one last year. The song Skinny Love and also the other well-known cover of Shelter from The xx caused the necessary interest.

Well it actually turns out to be all well put together. Of course there are some songs that are less successful, such as the cover of White Winter Hymnal by Fleet Foxes and District Sleeps Alone Tonight by The Postal Service, but in general I also like the rest.

Otherwise it is with the song Terrible Love, this is one of the best songs from The National. Birdy must have known that this is very difficult to surpass. She does not do this, however, what she does is give her own interpretation, which she succeeds very well. Making a very beautiful song to a very beautiful song is pretty good.

15 years and then already producing something so beautiful, there must still be a good future ahead. Well this is not in the category 'masterpiece' partly because there are covers on it, but it makes me very curious about my own work. But that will probably be fine.
