This is incredibly raw and primal. It does not hold back and it isn't for the faint of heart. Thjs is heavy on bass and has passionate and firey vocals. I had never gotten into this style of music before but this makes me very curious to do some more listeing and dig deeper into the genre. I always appreciate any music that pulls me out of my comfort zone and helps me to expirience new ideas.

Great Ep! It's great to have Douglas McCarthy (most famously of Nitzer Ebb) back and in true form. His in your face vocals haven't gone away and they provide a nice counterpoint to the bouncy early 90's rave-up that keeps you moving but never drones on. Chemicals is an unabashed, brutal techno pondering of drugs in our culture and it's incessant beat, will keep people guessing as to his stance on the topic for years.
After the Chemicals instrumental track, we get the real star of the release in Wrong Planet. This is six minutes of deceptive percussion and insidious bass while McCarthy does his version of crooning and screaming, sometimes in the same line. It's otherworldly and shows the innovativeness of most of McCarthy's projects.
