I love the whole vibe of this band, the smooth bas and guitar layers combined with the deep voice of Jacob Bellens the leadsinger. The backingband has roots in jazz music which to me is pretty obvious when listening to the album because of the melancholic atmosphere and vibe.
My favorite songs are the first two Back From the Dead and Church of the Real, but also run from the rain is nice. With this record they have established them complete as a band, and getting better and better for each alnum.
It's the whole feeling of the songs together that makes this album worth listening to again and again. Because you get this special feeling from listening to it. This is probably one of my favorite albums from this band and a great place to start for newcomers.
