If you were to compare the XX's albums to any other, the amount of music you get for your money would be substantially less. I wouldn't have it any other way though. Their signature sound is so compelling, the lyrics they sing such as: "they would be as in love with you as I am" would sound like nothing more than a poorly written pop song had any one else written them. The XX though turn those words into an atmospheric piece that could have been written for valentines day.If you like the previous work of the XX then this is bound to impress you even more!
