Cradlesong is the second solo album of Rob Thomas. It was released on 30 June 2009. Many of the lyrics of Cradlesong center around troubled relationships and the melancholic country terrain. The lead single of the album is "Her Diamonds". The song is about his wife Marisol, who had long time illness. This song became a great hit in Australia, debuting there at number three. Also Cradlesong reached the third place on the US charts. It was sold by 122,000 copies. The album takes a pop rock feel with a variety of sounds mixed by long time producer Matt Serletic.
