A moving soundtrack "Eat, Pray, Love" with a mix from classical rock, soul, world music, opera and Bossa Nova primes departure, sensuousness, sensory search, self-awareness – the strong emotions of author Elizabeth Gilbert played by Julia Roberts on her way around the world.

Beside titles of Neil Young, Marvin Gaye, Sly & the Family Stone and Josh Rouse as well as from Jo ã o and Bebel Gilberto the soundtrack contains a brand-new song of Eddie Vedder. The Leadsänger of Temple of the Dog and Pearl Jam contributed with "Better Days" an emotionally highly charged, folkige, from world music inspired single extraction whose rejoicing globetrotter's feeling reflects the mood of "Eat, Pray, Love" perfectly.

Vedders cheered solo debut "Into The of game" from 2007 is at the same time the soundtrack of the film of the same name of Sean Penn. For it one nominated Vedder, among the rest, for a Grammy and two Golden Globes. Stylistically Vedders hits more anew acoustic song "Better Days" remarkably in the notch of "Into The of game". The soundtrack of "Eat, Pray, Love" is – in parallel with the film – a trip around the world.
