Such a great soundtrack that best reflects the youthful spirit of the 80's. Almost all tracks made it to the charts and for good reason. The one thing about music pre-2000 is that they are always great to listen to and you never tire of them.

This album contains some of best variations of pop and rock music of the 80s from both male and female artists. Footloose was a movie that touched the hearts of many teens in the Bible belt when it was first released, but it is very true to the often closed-minded and filtered religious communities that were present across mid-America's heartland. When the movie was released for tv audiences, I was able to communicate how I felt about "sinful" dancing by just setting with them in the living room and letting them experience the movie first-hand. The music selections are quite diverse and are very danceable...both fast, energetic pieces and slow, romantic numbers. For any American child of the 80s, this compilation will be one to have for your collection. Totally Awesome 80s music!!
