Some of Deadmau5's best work. Pretty much on par with Dark Side of the Moon when it comes to continuity, progression and trance like euphoric state. Ultimate techno, chillbeat electronica. Download in high quality, throw on some headphones and do whatever, walk, mow your lawn, anything. Music like this gives you a steady beat to groove along with while drawing you in with intricate progression of frequencies and electronic sounds. There is a reason Deadmau5 is so renowned. This album is one of the best examples of his work. Would highly recommend.

‘For Lack of a Better Name’ is one of those albums that should be viewed as a single piece, however that can only be said without taking regard to the outstanding singles it holds. That in itself is an ode to the album. The album starts with repetitious paradiddles mixed with crisp sharp beats mixed along with electronic sounds building into a dramatic sequence of vocal rhythms, dissipating into calm more ambient electronic sounds only to refuel itself again with the fiery military drum sounds returning. Ghosts N’ Stuff featuring Rob Swire of Pendulum was my next highlight, it made a big impact in the UK spending a total of 9 weeks and making it to number 12 in the singles charts and number 2 in the UK Dance Charts. Moar Ghosts N’ Stuff is an instrumental take on the hit allowing you to appreciate Ghosts N’ Stuff on a whole new level. Moving through the album to ‘Soma’, this track has a very ‘1990 Ibiza club nights’ feel to it, though somehow working around the ‘cheesy’ factor, perhaps by incorporating a series of clever intricate beats. Strobe was the final highlight for me going from fantastic electronic bell and piano ambience once again building the tempo subtly and adding layers of organ and bass until it reaches the wonderfully constructed synthesized sounds along a crisp clean drum beat.
