Squeeze's 8th CD "Frank" was released in 1989. The album is a solid release and saw the return of original keyboardist/vocalist Jools Holland. "Frank" did not have any 'hits' on this release, therefore sold poorly. The good news is, the CD has some of Squeeze's best tracks and returned to the sound similar to their earlier work. The songs "Melody", "Rose I Said" and "(This Could Be) The Last Time" are prime examples. It's a shame this CD was not promoted properly by A&M. If you like Squeeze, you'll need this CD in your collection.
