Free is a blues-rock based UK group. "Highway" being their 4th LP, they deliver a powerhouse release and probably their best and certainly most mature LP. This CD is an 'expanded' release and the sound quality is incredible!! "The Highway Song" begins this CD and has kind of a 'The Band' swagger to it. "The Stealer" is the band's single released from this LP and it should have had much more chart action. The cool thing about this record is: it grows on you after each listen. "Bodie" is a beautiful song, as is "Be My Friend". "My Brother Jake" (bonus track) is an amazing single that also should have gotten better radio reaction. All and all.....buy this great CD!!
