"Homecoming" is America's 2nd LP, originally released in 1972. This is a fantastic follow-up to their debut LP from 1971. Together, songwriters Dan Peek, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell create an album that's full of originality, yet infuses folk, country & rock. Dewey Bunnell's "Ventura Highway" leads off the LP and it is a classic track that has stood the test of time. Bunnell's "Cornwall Blank" is another standout track, so worthy of being released as a single but never was. Peek's "Don't Cross The River" was the second single released and did quite well too. Beckley's "Til The Sun Comes Again" and "Only In Your Heart" are super tracks, with loads of Beatle influences. All and all, this could be America's best!! Buy it!!
