I start with the fact that I expected a very different album. Even deeper and more emotions, almost on la Alicia Keys. But that was not the case. It was nice on la Beyoncé. With songs like Ave Maria, Disappear & Broken-Hearted Girl, she touches me deeply. With texts like:

Broken:
And Yes, there are times when I hate you, but I do not complain
'Cause I've been afraid that you would walk away
Oh, but now I do not hate you

Disappear:
I missed all the signs, one at a time ....
You were ready
What did I know?
Starting our lives ....
Now my love, I'm ready to show

In addition, songs like Smash Into You & Boy hit me very much. Songs like Satellites & That's Why You're Beautiful are good, but too experimental.

In pace of pace I was surprised, but also disappointed. (I already notice that my 5 goes down)

Diva & Video Phone are 2 dragons of numbers, though I can appreciate Diva's lyrics and Video Phone kinda turns me on
The rhythms are so simple and the numbers too. Beyoncé, however, knows with her fiercness to give the songs an extra turn, can not really explain.

With songs like Ego, Sweet Dreams & Hello, I think she's doing well again. Although Hello is more a Beyoncé song, she knows both the rhythm and the vocal to keep the song up.

Bey is all about hypes: Single Ladies. A typical Beyoncé song, nice rhythm, bootyshaking lyrics and all about the ladies. Typically Bey, you hate it or love it.

Additionally, songs like Scared or Lonley & Radio are addictive to me. Perhaps not the most musical, but it's not Beyoncé either.

Vocal, Beyoncé goes up a few levels: the high tones in Ave Maria & Halo. And beautifully hauling.

Unfortunately, the pace has evaporated a bit, on B'day she managed to keep the energy high, but here the energy on cd is less, but live are the numbers of great energy, and you have to experience it once!

Beyoncé is a brand, just like Diana Ross was forever. She has so many contracts, plays in movies, shows great shows & makes great music. Surely, she's not like Bob Dylan, she'll never be. If she only gets her respect as an artist and performer. May be difficult with a beatle or bob dylan fan in discussion about Beyoncé. Mn pa just listen to the stones and U2. Also good music, but Beyoncé just does not fit in. Maybe she should work as Michael Jackson: rock, pop & R & B. But with more instruments, because if you say you have one cd full of acoustic tracks and there is a halo left over, you do not really like your word. Sorry, but the album is very good despite the disappointments. Do not play safe next time Beyoncé!
