"I'm In You" is Peter Frampton's 5th studio LP. Released in 1977 after the mammoth success of "Frampton Comes Alive", this release is sort of a let down. The 4 previous studio LP's by Frampton were outstanding, so it was quite a task to follow-up with something that strong. Unfortunately, the constant touring on the success of the "Comes Alive" LP probably was a factor here. Frampton's voice sounds ragged in spots and the lyrics of these songs are fairly weak. The bright spots on the CD are "St. Thomas" and "Tried To Love". "Rocky's Hot Club" is a cute number (featuring Stevie Wonder). I would still buy the CD, it's not all trhat bad....just not his best.
