I'm Not Aloneby Calvin Harris

On January 23rd 2009 Pete Tong from Radio 1 played a track, which he described as his essential new tune. That track ‘I’m not Alone’ by Calvin Harris and what a track it was! It had been a year since he had released ‘I Created Disco’ which very mixed reviews (but is fantastic non the less!). I’m Not Alone flew to number one in the UK singles charts giving Calvin his first solo number one single and second consecutive single after he co-released ‘Dance Wiv Me’ with Dizzee Rascal. But the waves didn’t stop there with bands such as Pendulum, Madonna and Tinchy Stryder all covering or sampling the song in some way. However you look at it, the song was a phenomenal success. Which brings us to this tasty morsel. As if the single wasn’t good enough already you can now own another 5 tantalizing remixes (FYI the Deadmau5 remix is brilliant, a great take on the track) along with an extended mix (in case your wondering, YES, it is that much better than the radio edit). Tiesto has also joined the ranks with another great take on the track. There is also an instrumental because there are plenty of fans out there who seem to enjoy posting themselves on YouTube ‘singing’ their very own version. Mmm.
