In A Quiet Worldby We Are The City

So after falling in love we are the city's second album violent I had to check out this one. Starting off, A Quiet World already displays the progressive uniqueness of we are the city, but in a much more raw sense. This album Is definitely much more rock sounding with instances of ballad like songs and less singles, but is equally as gripping. There is much more guitar on this album which makes the songs feel a little more recognizably mainstream, though the structure of the songs and the arrangement of the tracks is very unconventional. There are less harmonic vocal layers throughout this album, which really lets the times when there are backing vocals shine, though I feel there could have been much more. A few of my favs include the intro, time wasted, feel is a word and April.
