Conventional wisdom tells us that when a band creates anything resembling a "Greatest Hits" album, the end is in sight. And perhaps, during what fans later learned was a tumultuous time for the band members themselves, that was what this somewhat random assortment of Green Day songs really did signify. As we now know, however, this was far from the case, and this album remains a must-have for anyone who thinks they might just like to know more about a little band called Green Day. It's the perfect blend of 90s-era jams that met heavy radio play and little-known gems like "Poprocks and Coke" that, while never played a shows, still remain fan favorite "rarities" that, secretly, we'd all love to mosh to.
