"Jumpin' The Gunne" is California's Jo Jo Gunne's 3rd Lp, originally released in 1973. This CD re-issue sounds great and overall is the best LP the band ever released. The band was formed out of the band Spirit, with bassist Mark Andes & keyboardist/vocalist Jay Ferguson leading the way. "Red Meat" & "I Wanna Love You" are some smoking rockers, featuring the great guitar work of Matt Andes. "Jumpin' The Gunne" received a lot of critical acclaim at it's initial release, yet failed to make a lot of sales partially because of it's controversial cover. To me, it was one of the best LP's of 1973. Buy it!!
