Ice cubes first solo album,produced and released to ride on his success from the group N.W.A after their split, is an album written and sung by an incredibly angry young man. It is a 7 track LP filled with uptempo raps and beats and will take you back to the early days of gangsta rap. On hearing the beats of track no 4 "the product" you can almost picture yourself back in the day as the music is as fresh on hearing it now as it was back then. It is certainly not Ice cubes best album but it is far from his worst.
