For Marilyn Manson this release showed that when everything comes together, vocally and musically, an album really stands out. This is no exception for Mechanical Animals. It all comes together perfectly and his other albums, I think anyway, pale in comparision in overall lastabilty and sound. In releases before this, it seemed he was trying to shock people more than anything else but the sound on mechanical animals is more rounded and easier to listen to but of course that doesn’t mean it’s not as good. This is the Marilyn Manson album you should have ,where the talent all comes together for this worthy addition to any music collection.

Practically perfect. The fourth chapter of the saga Marilyn Manson is a classic horror of nihilism , dosing carefully its boundary elements to the Great Rejected, he , the star , even the Antichrist Superstar . The blood thrown on stage until now belongs to the past , the sacrifice of the Antichrist must still struggle with these creatures devoid of purity and life which are the Mechanical Animals .
