Steppenwolf's 4th LP "Monster" could possibly be their very best LP! Released in 1969 after their sluggish "At Your Birthday Party", this record has some fantastic songs and lyrically evoke strong political overtones. The first single "Move Over" is a powerhouse song, filled with explosive drumming. The title track is a long epic and doesn't disappoint with it's "America, where are you now" anthem. The instrumental "Fag" is probably the weakest track here. The LP closer "From Here To There Eventually" is a great closing song. All and all, "Monster" is a must for any Steppenwolf fan!
