Dada is a California-based power, pop/rock trio. This is their fantastic debut LP "Puzzle", produced by legendary Ken Scott. The two songs that received the most airplay from this LP are "Dim" and "Dizz-Knee Land", although the CD is filled with fun, catchy songs. For example, "Dog" is a great song that is very Beatle-esque and Todd Rundgren-ish. "Posters" is another cool song, with some fine drumming from Phil Leavitt and hot guitar work from Michael Gurley. Their lyrics lean toward scarcasm, ala Barenaked Ladies or 10cc. Bassist/vocalist Joie Calio and guitarist/vocalist Michael Gurley are simply amazing singers and can harmonize as good as the best in the business. All and all, a fantastic CD! Buy it!!
