Halsey is a newer artist with a heavy alternative, slightly pop vibe. To me, her music is ok, but it's not great. It seems in par with a lot of the other pop artists of today, which will sell, and likely be played on the radio a lot, but it doesn't mean it's original, or new. I feel like her music lacks that special thing that makes an artist stand out from all the others. Again, not saying her music is terrible or anything, but to me it's just alright. It's typical 2010s pop music.
Out of the songs on the album, I think I like the most: "Ghost" and "Trouble".
It will be nice to see her release a full length album, maybe there will be more variety and originality in her songs.
