S.C.I.E.N.C.E.by Incubus

This album is straight funky! And heavy! It's also sparodic and disorienting but in a way that really draws you in. It juxtaposes moments of pure agression and chill jazz lounge vibes. The band shows that they are clearly technically gifted at thier craft and thwy are not afriad to be 100% creative no matter what the end result turns out to be. Personally, I find the results to be amazing and abstract. To me this is basically the mars volta meets the red hot chilli peppers (even though the mars volta was actually formed when this record came out). I really enjoy that this album defies any one particular and it is a hidden gem among incubus' discography and among thier piers.
