Arcadia, their one and only album from, a side project from 3 members of Duran Duran, Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes And Roger Taylor. Nick Rhodes puts his mark right through this album with his deeply layered synths and Roger Taylor banging away on the drums as usual. Simon Le Bon and his vocals have always been very good and on here they are no exception.
For me personally I think it was and still is just as good as any Duran Duran album, from the mid 80's. In fact I think a lot of the music definitely had more depth to it.
Election Day, Keep Me In The Dark, Goodbye Is Forever and The Flame are stand outs. With all the extras of extended or alternative versions of songs, you can't go wrong with this. Duran Duran fans will more likely love it but I think it's just another set of songs to like from the great 80's. How can you go wrong? You can't. Stll good after all these years.
