U.K.'s Marmalade is a great pop band that went through many changes in it's heyday. The LP "Songs" was originally released in 1971 and this CD is an 'expanded' and digitally remastered version. This version of the band was led by guitarist/vocalist Hugh Nicholson. In my opinion, it was the best version of the band! "Songs" features the fantastic rocker "Radancer" (that was a Top 10 hit in U.K.) Extra bonus tracks "Jody" (A Nicholson composition that ended up on Blue's 1st LP)and "Mr. Heartbreaker" (co-written with Hollies Terry Sylvester) turn out to be great additions here. I highly recommend this CD, because it's the best Marmalade collection from this particular line-up. Buy it!
