I am obsessed with this song! I don't really like the genre, and don't love any of Twenty One Pilots other stuff (although it's all pretty good), but I play Stressed Out over and over again and can't get bored of it. It is funny, clever, lyrical, upbeat and very catchy in a good way.
I love that anyone and everyone can relate to the story of the words; we all know that nostalgic feeling thinking of when there was nothing to worry about and we were taken care of.
The video as well is brilliant, a lot of effort and creativity went into that.
One of my all time anthems, I play this when I'm cooking, running, getting ready to go out; anything that needs a bit of an energy boost.

Usually I don't like rap music, but this song is an exception. I find this track slightly funny, inventive and extremely catchy. I found out about this song when I was on a trip to the Isle of Wight with my class from school. My friend played it on his IPod Touch and I heard it. It was an instant hit with me. One thing that does not occur with most rap songs is that I can still here the voice when it speaks quickly. Normally rappers go a little bit too fast. The facial expression in the music video is very good, too. I like other songs by 21 pilots, like Lane Boy. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

21 Pilots had the right formula when they wrote this song. A fun song with light lyrical content reminiscing to childhood when things were easier. This isn't to say the lyrics are cheesy or silly, but that they manage to elicit an emotional response without being dark or depressing. Stressed out does a great job putting into context doing what you like versus selling out for money. The beat is catchy and is really what drives this song from beginning to end. Stressed Out was not what I expected from 21 Pilots upon hearing their other radio hits. If you're not a 21 Pilots fan based on their other songs Stressed Out could really change your mind, and if you were already a fan I think this song keeps the repertoire fresh providing one more reason to be a fan.
