This is Machine Head's second album during their nu-metal phase. We have to remember the time when this album came out. Machine Head was competing with Limp Bizkit, Godsmack, and others that were doing the rap/rock, rap/metal. I will be honest, I'm not a fan of this album or the the previous, The Burning Red because these were both just attempts to keep up with the trend of nu-metal. Thanks goodness Machine Head started to get their act back together on the next album Through the Ashes of Empires. The completionist in me is what compelled me to buy this album as well as the other nu-metal one I mentioned. To me, there are no real stand out songs, nor would I recommend someone check this album out if they wanted to get into Machine Head. For that, I would recommend The Burning Red or any other Machine Head album. I give the album 3 stars because mp3caprice delivers the album in 320 bit mp3 and it's excellent quality. I wish I could say the same about Supercharger...just saying.
