The April Wine Collection is a sturdy overview of one of Canada's most popular rock bands. Led primarily by singer/guitarist/songwriter Myles Goodwin, the band made it through the 1970's and 1980's very successfully; as well documented in this box set collection. April Wine went through many changes, but Goodwin's signature voice and style has held up well over the years. Songs like "All Over Town", "Roller" and "Just Between You And Me" sound just as good today as they did when they were popular. Their 1st major U.S. hit "You Could Have Been A Lady", doesn't hold up as well in the test of time. The sound quality of this set is excellent and disc 4 boasts a wealth of live material. A great collection from a great band who sometimes gets overlooked.
