Awesome album! Not only did I like their own material but now they have added the stryper-touch to some of my favorite songs from the past. "The Trooper"? The guitars are great and sound better and heavier than the original Iron Maiden. "Immigrant Song" is a perfect song for them to do. Michael Sweet's voice suits it nicely. "Breaking The Law", "Carry On Wayward Son", and "Over the Mountain" have a fresh new sound! "Shout It Out Loud" and "Lights Out" sound like you are in the garage while the band it tearing it up on guitars and bands! This album was a surprise for me because I wasn't sure if they sound fit a lot of these songs. But if you are a Stryper fan, you'll jam to them. If you aren't a Stryper fan, you just might become one when you realize how good these songs are done, and how much better their own stuff is!!!!!!!!!
Very interesting new album from Stryper, Let me say that these guys are really talented! I don't care for every cover or the bands they covered but their are songs that really stand out such as, Carry On Wayward Son ,by Kansas ,Highway Star, Deep Purple, and of course GOD, WOW that song kicks!
