This is something of a 'greatest hits' connection for Monty Python. This was a two CD set, intended to be a sort of exclamation point on their releases. There's nothing new here, you can find all of this material on their other releases, but it is nice to have it all in one package.

One would have expected the Spanish Inquisition here, but it has been most egregiously left off. It would be impossible to get all of their sketches in one set, barring some sort of giant boxed set, so some exclusions had to be made, and forgiven. They released a lot of material in their time, even aside from the movies and TV series, so if you are a big fan, this won't be enough.

But it is a good start. Everything on this is gold, newer fans, and those looking for the really famous sketches will get what they are looking for here...yes, the Parrot Sketch is included. If anything here is unfamiliar to you, I highly recommend buying it, you will be really glad that you did, Monty Python is a rare combination of goofy, slapstick, funny and very intelligent. Know what I mean, wink wink, nudge nudge?
