Garth Brooks is a country legend without a doubt. He started his career on A.M. Oklahoma. He has broken records in sales and concert attendance which is amazing. He's a great performer if you have ever seen him in concert. This album his his older work, but it's awesome! He has released a new album called "Man Against Machine", which is great too. Most of his albums have reached diamond status (meaning at least 10x platinum).

His style is a mix of old school Merle Haggard, Honky Tonk, and even a little rock, which gave him 2 Grammys, 17 American Music Awards (which included Artist of the 90's), and RIAA award for best selling solo artist of the century in the U.S.. This is a very impressive career. You should check out this album which includes all his best prior songs such as "Shameless", "Beer Run (with legend George Jones)", "Friends in Low Places", and my personal fave "The Thunder Rolls".

Okay I know this is older stuff but I just had to write on this country legend! Was sorry to see him fade away with time!Somehow his songs were relatable to me just like Bob Segars lyrics, you know, like the songs were written just for you!Just yesterday my dear husband and I were in this steakhouse restaraunt and "the dance" came on! What a great song to inspire such wonderful memories. It seems to me back when country music was simpler and less cluttered with bolongna is when Clint Black was popular! His songs have always reached out to me and made give pause to whatever I was doing! Its music such as this that I consider great music, thew kind that makes you stop and pause, or think , or takes you places right from where your at to another place in time . Til next time Red Rene
