This last Overkill album with guitarist Rob gustafson was his best album! This is a shredfest from a master of the guitar. "Elimation", arguably one of the best tracks, is so fast and furious that most of today's guitarists couldn't even play it! The solos are vicious and fast! The whole song tears along at breakneck speed and is very catchy! "I Hate", "Birth of Tension", "Evil Never Dies", "Nothing To Die For", and "Time To Kill" are my next favorite songs on the album. All of these songs ooze speed metal groove from Rob's guitar the whole way through while Blitz on vocals does his signature high-pitch croning and DD Verni on bass and the drummer beat out a crisp perfect background.

Don't let the slow heavy songs fool you into thinking they aren't metal to the core because they are! "The Years of Decay" and "Playing With Spiders/Skullcrusher" together are 20 minutes of pure Overkill aggression slowed down to maximum heaviness.

More bands in the year 2011 and beyond, need to listen and learn from great Overkill albums such as this one!! Buy it!!! Buy it!!! Buy it!!!!
