Michael Franks' music will keep you in a good mood and with his tropical 1979 "Tiger In The Rain", it's no exception. He is simply one of the best songwriters/artists in the business; hands down. Singer Flora Purim helps Michael on the first track, the breezy "Sampaku". Most of the CD has a Brazilian vibe to it. Guest musicians include heavyweights saxophonist Michael Brecker, vibraphonist Mike Maineri, bassist Ron Carter,etc. "Jardin Botanico" and "Tiger In The Rain" are my favorite tracks here. With Michael Franks you can't go wrong! Buy it!!
