Virtue is an album that really grew on me. The more I listened to it, the more I began to appreciate what the band was trying to accomplish with this record. This is an album that really makes the listener question what they consume and why they consume it. It makes you think about why you like what you like. A major theme in this album is intellectual freedom. The Voidz really are asking the listeners if they really think for themselves. You almost have to in order to listen to this album and get anything out of it.

That being said, not only do love the social commentary that this album dives into, but the production on this album is ahead of what most bands are doing currently. This is really an album that is trying to push pop and alternative music to its limits and mixing it with expiriments that most bands would never even try to attempt. It's almost like they did because they could. I hear alot of ideas in this album that remind me bands like radiohead but it is also very dissimilar at the same time. This album fills it's own niche on that it's not overly intellectual but it has all the qualities that make more cerebral styles of music have but it is equally as straight forward and accaesable.

Overall, this is probably going to end up being one of my favorite albums to come out this year because of how bold and contemplative it is.
