1974's "Walking Man" is James Taylor's 5th record, his first produced by studio/jazz guitarist David Spinozza. The results are fantastic; possibly giving us the best JT LP to date! Songs like "Ain't No Song" and "Hello Old Friend" are timeless Taylor classics. The title cut "Walking Man" is also brilliant; possibly auto-biographical in nature. Joining James on "Rock and Roll Is Music Now" is his then-wife, pop beauty Carly Simon and their friends Paul and Linda McCartney. Saxophonist Michael Brecker and other well known New York studio musicians grace the tracks. This is my favorite James Taylor record! Buy it!!
