Overall, this is a solid album. If you are a new fan to Death Cab, then I would probably look somewhere else for an introduction to the band. It is a good album, but it lacks what Death Cab originally pulled me in with. Though if you are already a Death Cab for Cutie fan. May I suggest giving Title Track, and Company Calls Epilogue a listen. Title Track will pull you in with a soft sound, but once the song gets going, the heavy drums and faster tempo will entice you to make it your next ringtone. Company Calls Epilogue is also featured in their Forbidden Love EP, but I personally prefer this version of the song better. It has more of a collective sound than an abstract one. Another favorite off this Album is Scientist Studies. A very slow and soothing song that I personally enjoy while sitting outside at night. It can really set an atmosphere, but is probably not the best thing to play when in the car with friends. Enjoy the album, and look into other Death Cab for Cutie as well.
