With this album of the band ASP, which appeared in the year 2003, the band experienced a relatively big change of style:
The electronic tones, which have occurred very frequently in the two previous albums, have been significantly postponed. For bass and guitar are more in the foreground. As on almost all ASP albums, the songs are very different: The very well-done Intro prepares you perfectly for the upcoming album. The album is very rocky, but of course there are exceptions, such as the song "Stille der Nacht". This song is something completely different, a kind of ballad that lets you practically feel the cold snow that's on your skin. In "She Wore Shadows" the electronic tones are once again in the foreground. The song "Demon Love" is very reminiscent of "Stille der Nacht" and is very melancholic. "Ich will brennen" is the rock highlight on this album, and has greatly contributed to the popularity of ASP. The last song, "Ruhe vor dem Sturm" is a very successful, quiet conclusion of the album. Above all, the singer's calm and melancholy voice, stands out.
