Minus The Bear are in all probability one of the best rock band in Seattle since the end of grunge.
In 2008, they released the first part of this project, entitled "Acoustics". In this album there are two new songs and eight hits rearranged for the occasion. The music of the five Northern American guys has roots in odd times, in psychedelic, lysergic sounds, but also in more traditional hard rock (in a better world would be the most famous post Incubus Morning view, or at least as much as they...). In both works the music approaches to emotional acoustic unplugged band now historic as Pearl Jam or the Red Hot Chili Peppers (without owning their manhood funky). Beautiful songs like "The game needed me" and " Absinthe Party at the Fly Honey Warehouse" lose their component neutral, but in return they gain in sensitivity, while "Hooray" and "When We Escape" lose in power, but gain in melody and the second even becomes a melancholy song from the beach (again quoting the Peppers this could be their Road trippin). The closure is entrusted to the beautiful "Dayglow view road", which compact the various movements caused by the instruments in the original to become a touching ballad. Album advised for both fans and those who want to know this amazing band.
