"Deguello" is the sixth studio album by ZZ Top (comprised of Billy Gibbons on guitar and vocals, Dusty Hill on bass and keyboards, and Frank Beard on drums) and was released in November of 1979. The album only peaked at number 183 on Billboard 200, but eventually went platinum. ZZ top was already one of the best southern rock bands out there and this album proved it. Although the album was lyrically weird ("Maniac Mechanic"), they produced great, radio-friendly singles like "Cheap Sunglasses" and "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide". This album is also very bluesy, which one can expect from a ZZ Top album. "Deguello" is definitely one of their better albums and the best since "Tres Hombres".
