Very good 2018 release of W.E.T.'s third album. It has been 5 years since their previous effort, "Rise Up", and the wait has been worthwhile. This is a must for all AOR melodic rock fans. W.E.T. is composed of members from the bands Work Of Art, Eclipse, and Talisman. Jeff Scott Soto (vocals) has been busy in different projects (Sons Of Apollo recently) and is in fine shape. The album starts with "Watch The Fire" a good rocking tune with an 80's vibe. This sets the bar to what to expect for the rest of the album.
Next up is "Burn" another catchy song with an 80's feel. Good chorus.
"Kings On Thunder Road" is one of my favourites of this release. Great chorus and melody. A 10/10 song.
"Elegantly Wasted" is a ballad and one of the weakest songs.
"Urgent" picks things up again. A good rocker with the Eclipse influence. Strong chorus and good guitar playing. Another strong song.
"Dangerous" is another song with an 80's feel and sounds in the vein of the other rockers of this album, it could have used more creativity.
"Calling Out Your Name" starts like a slow ballad with a keyboard pad background. After almost a minute, the guitar kicks in and it gets into the strength of the song with hooks and melody.
"Heart Is On The Line" is another weak ballad which is not impressive.
"I Don't Want To Play That Game" is another catchy song with a good chorus backed by keyboards.
The album closes with "The Never Ending Retraceable Dream. This song sounds like Journey a song. It could have been recorded by them. The melody and song arrangement is the classic Journey mix. All give a great performance on this.

Earthrage is well produced, mixed, and sounds great! Lots of talent in this album. Many memorable tunes. Probably their best release so far.
