I love that this album feels so agressive and is also so low key at the same time. This is a prime example of how music does not have to be loud to be "loud". Elliot was such a great songwriter in that way. His songs don't feel like drama for the sake of drama but rather just a man being real about what he thinks and feels. And this album is stripped down to the bear elements that songs are made of which means that each piece has to be carefully crafted. And that is the best was I can describe this album. You can tell that elliot put his heart and soul into these songs.
