"Front Page News" is the 8th LP by the great British band Wishbone Ash. This CD leans towards the more melodic side of Wishbone Ash. It features original members Steve Upton, Andy Powell and Martin Turner. This CD has some fantastic songs on it, but unfortunately has a few 'just average' tunes as well. The 2 Laurie Weisfield (replaced Ted Turner on the "There's The Rub" CD) tunes "Goodbye Baby, Hello Friend" and "714" in my opinion are some of the best Wishbone Ash has ever recorded. "Come In From The Rain" is a solid Martin Turner composition; full of great guitar licks. "Diamond Jack" is another great song full of twin guitar trademarks that made Wishbone ASh different than all the others. Highly recommended.
