As time has gone on, this has become such an influential album for me. As a musician I find the mixture of styles and textures on this album to be fresh and uncomprimising. This album also showcases how much Josh has evolved and matured as a musician. This feels lush and full in its arrangements and the writing is fantastic. Josh also uses very vivid lyriscism to convey deep truths about life and faith. This is not surface level writing. It's real and genuine poetry that has intention and conviction behind it.

This album feels like it is a while world all to itself. And the theme of coming home and having a new start ring true through so much of this album. And this has to do with coming back to faith as well as being who you are meant to be. There is so much power in this music that has to be heard to be understood.

Also, Josh's vocal range is incredible and he makes full use of it here. He pushes himself more on this album than on any album prior. It's really mindblowing to hear the melodies he sings and how he really doesn't hold back anything vocally. And really that goes back to how genuinely this album really comes across. This may be becoming one of favorite albums ever. The more I listen to it the more I love it.

Born again and colors are mt two favorite songs on this album. I love the textures that they evoke and josh's voice is amazing. This is also as I see it currently, his most cohesive and intentional album to date. He seems very consistant with his songwriting here and he also has a very clear sound and mood that defines the album.

Always be is also a great track and becoming a third favorite the more I listen to it. I like the rest of the songs on this album beyond that as a whole listening expirience as opposed to individual tracks. They all kind of come together to make the album what it is.
