"On The Road" is Jesse Colin Young's 1976 live release, originally put out on Warner Brothers records. This LP is a terrific example of Young's exciting live sets from his 1970's heydey. I was one of those lucky ones who actually saw Jesse and his band during those times. Keyboardist Scott Lawrence always impressed me during those concerts. (as he does in this recording) "Sunlight" starts things off here, just as beautiful as the Youngbloods original version. "Miss Hesitation" is very sassy composition, that the band swirls from dreamy to blues-y. Young's voice never sounds ragged on this CD; simply one of the best voices in it's class. I can't say enough about the quality of the performance here. Highly recommended!
